Phil traces his
penchant for writing perfection to Mrs. Weinberg (sixth grade), Mrs.
McNamara (eleventh grade), and Professor Harden (college composition).
His formal training was in business software development, and his background
is in the enterprise storage software business. He's been a programmer,
systems designer, salesman, and MIS manager, back in the day when it was
called "MIS." He's always been a serial entrepreneur. And

Madelyn
J. Clarke

Madelyn joins ProofreadNOW
with more than fifteen years of financial and accounting experience
in the software industry, with a specialty in cost control and an emphasis
on profitability. She's a classically trained musician, too. Maybe that's why she's so
good with numbers. Madelyn graduated from Colorado State University. Go Rams.
Julie
DeSilva

Julie's an editorial
professional, and has served as an editorial production manager in book
publishing and advertising. Most recently, she was Studio Manager at
The Agency at Fidelity Investments (News flash: Fidelity's now our customer!) where she managed a staff of 20+
proofreaders. She has worked with major book publishers in Boston and
New York. Julie holds a BA in English/Communications. She served as
a proofreading instructor for nSight (eat your heart out, nSight!)
and the Boston Center for Adult Education.
